Robert P. Lang

As a young man, Robert P. Lang had a passion for business and investments, and when he decided to become a lawyer it was only natural that he would choose to focus on tax and commercial law. A native of Spring Valley, New York, Mr. Lang completed undergraduate studies at Syracuse University, and received his JD at University of Toledo. He completed advanced training in taxation at New York University, and received his LL.M in Taxation in 1979.

In addition to commercial and corporate clients, Mr. Lang advises individuals, families, small business owners, and professionals on a wide range of matters, including estate planning, estate administration, real estate, business succession and transition planning. "Taxes are an integral part of all commercial transitions, and being cognizant of the nuances of taxation is an advantage, especially when structuring transactions." He says. "I like to give clients practical and thoughtful advice on economic concerns from a transactional standpoint, an investment standpoint and a tax standpoint."

Mr. Lang also works with a variety of regional and east coast clients in diverse industries including healthcare, real estate development, hospitality, recreation, retail and charitable foundations. Clients include Mainland Heart Consultants, Atlantic Hospitality Group, Hope Community Cancer Center, Parkshore Development and Cape May Forum,"Chautauqua at the Shore".

A past president of both Congregation Beth Judah in Ventnor, New Jersey and Jewish Family Service of Atlantic and Cape May Counties, Mr. Lang currently serves on the Board of the Jewish Federation Foundation and directs the investment of its endowment fund. He is also a member of the Richard Stockton College Business School Advisory Board.

He is a member of the Atlantic County and New Jersey State Bar Associations.
